Using Cromagnon
Cromagnon (cromagnon.app) offers free studios and tools that run in your web browser. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
You can use every studio and tool without an account. Some features, such as syncing between devices, need a free account.
Your files and content
Your files and everything you make with Cromagnon stay yours. We claim no rights over them. Files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers; the privacy notice explains the few cases where something is stored, such as when you choose to sync, publish or share.
You are responsible for the files you open and the content you create, publish or share, and for having the right to use them.
If you publish a deck to the public library or share a link, you give us permission to store and show that content to the people it is shared with, until you unpublish it or turn the link off.
Acceptable use
Don't use Cromagnon to break the law, to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights, or to create or share content that is abusive, hateful, deceptive or harmful.
Don't try to disrupt, overload or break into the site, its servers or other people's accounts, and don't scrape or copy the site at a scale that affects other visitors.
We may remove published content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity in your account. You can download your data and delete your account at any time from Settings.
AI features
AI features are optional and use a key from a provider you choose. What you send goes to that provider under its own terms. AI output can be wrong: check it before you rely on it.
Results and availability
We work hard to make every tool accurate and reliable, but Cromagnon is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Always keep a copy of your original files and check important results (calculations, conversions, citations, invoices, legal or medical text) before relying on them.
We may change, add or remove features, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, Cromagnon is not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages arising from using the site.
Cromagnon's own content
The Cromagnon name, logo, design, artwork, guides and code are ours. You may link to any page and quote short parts of our guides with a link back.
